Frank Winking at Winkings Market

Frank behind the counter at Winkings Market.

Winking's Market was founded on July 2, 1948 by Richard "Dick" Winking and his aunt Elsie Feld.  At the time Winking's was one of many local neighborhood grocery stores that served the people that lived in the area.  Winking's store was nicely located in proximity to the downtown area, homes, apartments and businesses that surrounded their forth street location.  Being a local business with a regular customer base, Dick and his aunt Elsie knew many of their customers personally.  That tradition continues today with current owner, Frank Winking and the regular customers that frequent Winkings Market. 

Winkings Market was featured in a local business segment on local TV station KHQA that does a wonderful job of telling the public about our business.  Please watch the video below to learn all about Winking's and the products  we offer.
